Lemon Blueberry Scones Recipe

This is a very yummy dish and you can enjoy it in any time of the day

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (2 1/4c)
2. baking powder (2tsp)
3. sugar (1/4c)
4. firm butter (1/3c)
5. softened cream cheese (1pkg)
6. fresh blueberries (3/4c)
7. egg (1)
8. milk (1/3c.)
9. salt (1/4tsp)
10. grated lemon peel (1tbsp)
11. lemon juice (1tsp)
12. sugar (optional)

Method of preparation
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Take a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, lemon peel, 1/4 cup sugar and salt in it. Add butter in it and then mix it with blender or crisscrossing knives until the mixture gets crumbly.

2. Take a small bowl, mix egg and cream cheese and then add blueberries and milk in it. Pour this mixture into the flour mixture of large bowl.

3. Make the dough of this mixture and roll it in ball shape. Take a divided ungreased scone pan. Place about 1/3 cup of dough in each wedge of this pan. Use lemon juice for brushing the scones and then sprinkle sugar if you desire, over the scones.

4. Bake it in oven for 15-20 minutes or until it gets golden brown. Take off the scones from pan and then place on cooling rack it cool. Serve warm.
