Crispy Raisins Scones Recipe

Enjoy these light, buttery and crispy scones as snacks.

Ingredients
1. All purpose flour (1 3/4c)
2. baking powder (2tsp)
3. butter (3tsp)
4. coarse white sugar (2tsp)
5. raisins (1c)
6. egg (1 large)
7. vanilla extract (1tsp)
8. confectioner sugar (1c)
9. milk (1/3c)

Method of ingredients
1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F. Take a bowl. Mix flour, baking powder and sugar in it and then add butter in it. Mix it until it forms like coarse crumbs.

2. Now add milk, Vanilla extract and beaten egg in it and again mix it lightly and then add raisins in the mixture. Form the dough, roll it and then cut it into scones.

3. Take an ungreased baking sheet; drop the scones on the sheet with teaspoon. The scones should not touch one another on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the top of scones with coarse white sugar.

4. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake it for about 8 minutes until it gets brown and crispy.
