Whole Wheat Banana Muffin Recipe

Ingredients
1. Whole wheat flour (2c.)
2. ripe mashed bananas (1 1/2c.)
3. pure maple syrup (1/2c.)3
4. baking powder (1 1/2tsp.)
5. baking soda (1/4tsp.)
6. ground cinnamon (1/4tsp.)
7. light brown sugar (1/4c.)
8. salt (1/4tsp.)
9. milk (1/3c.)
10. vanilla extract (1tsp.)
11. canola oil (1/4c)
12. chopped walnuts (3/4c)
13. sliced and dried banana chips (1large)
14. lightly beaten eggs (2large)
Method of preparation
1. First heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Place the rack in oven. Take 12 cups muffin pan and grease it with cooking spray.
2. Take a large bowl; mix flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, salt and baking powder. Take another bowl; mix mashed banana, brown sugar, milk, maple syrup, beaten eggs, oil and vanilla extract in it. Mix this mixture in the mixture of dry ingredients. Mix it thoroughly until the batter gets thicken. Add chopped walnuts.
3. Put the batter in the muffin tins. Place dried banana chips on the top of each muffin. This is for garnish the muffins.
4. Bake it in an oven for about 20-25 minutes. Then place the muffins on wire rack to cool for about 5 minutes. Remove the muffins from the pan. Serve it warm.
Number of servings 12 muffins.
